Drive for Show - Golf Tip
By Golf2Win | October 1, 2007
For Golf Driving Tips
Drive for show and putt for dough was a phrase that I often hear over and over again. This is a phrase that comes into play for Golf Driving Tips because this refers to how important driving is to your game of golf. If you don t drive for show and put the ball right down the middle in the fairway you may not ever get to putt for dough.
One of the most unique golf clubs in the bag is the driver. Several golf driving tips that have helped me drive the ball better have been:
1-Prepare on the driving range by making sure you are aiming correctly by laying out your stance outline on the ground and aiming directly at a target mark.
2-Use a longer length driver and or jumbo head if it is comfortable and efficient for you.
3-While prepping up after a long winter, use a adjustable weighted club to work up to your full muscle strength intermingled with trips to the bubble or heated driving ranges to be ready for your spring golf.
4-Make sure you concentrate on hitting the ball straight even if you have to give up a few yards.
5-There is nothing more beautiful than hitting a long straight drive right down the middle of the fairway between the trees. Visualize this before each drive.
Another golf driving tip is when you are driving a golf cart. Please drive carefully.
The next round of golf that you play, visualize ahead of time how great it will be to start off the first hole with a long drive straight down then center of the fairway. Go for it.
If you want to enjoy and play golf better, you must drive for show by practicing golf driving tips.
